- How can I watch the videos with subs?
Make sure you have the needed things to watch them with subs. You must have a “codec” If you don’t know what that is, google it! Then once you have those codecs, read this: [link]
- What is the difference of VERSION 1 & VERSION 2?
Version 2 is the revised version for the version 1, for better watching, download VERSION 2! You will always see a *VERSION 2* beside the *VERSION 1* whenever we have to release a revised version of it.
- How do I download the softsubs?
You’ll have 2 ways of downloading them. Check the link if the link is from d-addicts or from us. If it is from d-addicts, simply click on it as is, d-addicts links would automatically ask if you want to open it or save it. If it’s from “haru2subs.com” for firefox users, right click on it and save link as..
- When will Episode __ be out?
We do NOT have a proper date for episode releases! We try to do high quality subtitles, so we do NOT rush things, but we still try to catch up with what the station is currently airing. Ugh. No! We do NOT accept any drama requests! We only work on projects wherein we are interested in or a bunch of people are interested in helping us on doing a drama project.

- How come there are no videos in this site?
We are only offering subtitles! We are not a streaming site! Download the video and the subtitle for you to enjoy High Quality subtitle and video! Do NOT depend on those disrespectful uploaders on streaming sites!!

- What is the difference of Han & Ental? CEO & TOP? DokGoDie?
Han/Ental/Mhan/CEO/TOP/DokGoDie and many various versions available are different versions of teams that rips the videos. As of November 10, 2009, Ental will no longer be operating, so Han XviD and Han 450p will be the versions our subtitles will be synced with for the current airing projects. Or any other versions available at our main download source, aja-aja.com. Or at am-addiction.com/forum.
- Why do you recruit for Chinese Translators, do you have any Chinese drama projects as well?
We recruit for Chinese Translators as Chinese subtitles usually comes out faster for Korean Dramas. Meaning that one must be fluent in reading Chinese and be able to translate it to English fluently.

Thanks sooo much!!! I’m trying to figure out how I can add subs to the video in Handbrake… and it works well… its just some subs that are shown simultaneously show one right after another. (ie. when a son is being played with the subs and there is dialogue with the actors, it doesnt show it one on top of the other, itll show one at a time at a speed to where it need to catch up.)
This is all when I convert the vid with the subs btw… sooo thats why i was wondering maybe its a different SRT CHAR CODE… i hope this will solve the problem. TYTYTY ^^
hi! thanks for the new subs for PK.
but i’m having problems with ep11. i got all my raws from kpopella and all eps have been fine. but when I started playing ep 11(doing the same thing I’ve been doing for other eps>renaming of files<, the subs won't appear). any suggestions/ideas what I might be doing wrong? i tried attaching the raw with a diff ep sub and it worked but when I attached ep11 sub to different ep, it doesn't).

The only thing I can suggest is to re-download the sub file – trash the old one – go through the renaming procedure for the sub, locate both files in the SAME folder & see if that works.
If that doesn’t work – have a look back through some of the comments here and in the thread & see if someone had a similar problem & were able to rectify it. I’ve been away for 2 weeks, so I have no history of the questions during that time. Let me know how you go.

I watch a few dramas every now and then when people tell me it was really popular, usually on places like mysoju. I find that even though the point of subtitles are to get the message translated across, sometimes the subtitles are just dead wrong. Also its really obvious when a korean speaker that learned english does subtitles and when an english speaker that learned korean does subtitles.
Although ironically I don’t need subtitles to watch a drama just watching really s**t subs on the bottom of the screen is distracting so I felt I’d be proactive and at least offer some help.

Hi, I was wondering, are we allowed to stream the subs on sites like azn.tv. The reason I ask is because it makes it easier for those who are in a country with slower internet connection, if I was back in Canada, downloading a video is no problem for me, but on vacation here in Lebanon, I have to wait more then 13 hours for one video and I can\t leave my computer to download it as the electricity here goes on and off a couple of times a day. Thanks and hope to hear an answer.Sorry for such a long post, I feel like i am asking too for too much. =(
I wish I could edit my post, I forgot to mention as well that I am aware of the do not hard sub or stream subs but I want to ask for permission. Problem is I dont know how to do this as I am not a staff remember of the site, but the site to me is like a life saver, as its buffers the videos, so no downloading. Sorry for the late reply, Alfred! But I’ve tried accessing our website using iTouch & iPhone 4 and I have no problems with it, it’s just that our settings are automatically changing the format of the website to TOUCH WORDPRESS so, it may be different than the usual themes.

I downloaded some of the episodes of a Drama in Baros version but your subs are in Han. That wouldn’t make any problem? I mean, it doesn’t matter if the video is in Baros Version and your subs are in Han?
Maybe this question is stupid but as is my first time watching videos with softsubs, I don’t have any idea about this.

Unfortunately, the HAN subs may not ‘sync’ (i.e. display on the screen at the time the actors/characters speak their dialogue) with the version you have downloaded. And as I don’t have the raw file I cannot tell you IF our HAN subs work. You could try – the file is only small, so you may be lucky. If not, you could try & re-sync them yourself – I believe there is a great tutorial @ am-addiction.com (you need to be a member & abide by their guidelines) OR if on a MAC you can search in google something like… ‘tutorial resyncing of subtitle files on a mac’ and it’ll being up sites for you to check out.

For future reference, we always advise which version of the video we are subbing in our SUBTITLE STATUS tab at the top of our page.
Here is a previous post of mine – a quick ‘blow by blow’ lesson on how to download & play the subs with the corresponding video version. (some of this information you may already know, but I’ll post it all here for any others who may not know).

1.
Download the raw video file. (Links for sites to download this are listed in each drama thread – you can also check out beforehand the version required @ the SUBTITLE STATUS tab @ the top of the page)
2.
Download the english sub. (Again, listed by episode title in each drama thread)
3.
Save the sub file EXACTLY the same as the title of the video – seeing we’re in Playful Kiss, let’s go with Playfull.Kiss.ep01

NB* the video file will have a suffix (an ending) of .avi AND the sub will have a suffix of .srt. Save BOTH these files in the SAME FOLDER (suggest you create a PK drama folder for all your videos & sub files)

So, you should have:
1 x video file of Playfull.Kiss.ep01.avi AND
1 x subtitle file of Playfull.Kiss.ep01.srt AND
they should be together in the SAME folder.

Now all you need to do – no fancy movie making software is required here AT ALL – no need to separate anything, or play around/open up the file – DO NOTHING EXCEPT – open the video file in your video player – VLC, GOM, MediaPlayer, Quicktime – any player will do, and whoopee…. as long as you have followed the above directions, the subs will display with the video.

Now for MAC computers, you will need no additional software to play the videos. With a PC you MAY need what is call a ‘codec’. You will have to download this – & it is available by going to d-addicts LINK: http://d-addicts.com/forum/viewtopic_59952.htm. Actually I recommend you go to this site – among many things there for you to look at/read, they have a wonderful technical section.

Oh, and last but not least, REMEMBER TO DOWNLOAD THE CORRESPONDING RAW VIDEO FILE TO OUR SUBS. That is, the HAN version of the video IF our subs are HAN – otherwise the subs MAY NOT be timed exactly to the actors dialogue. You can check out which versions we are using for our subs – as well as the status of the delivery of our subs – in the Subtitle Status tab located @ the top of the page.

whats the difference between HAN and HAN 720p subtitles?
@plk, HAN is the regular 700MB version we usually use, while the HAN 720p is the HD quality which is 1.5GB in size and has a much better quality. It’s just a matter of video, that’s all.

exactly, there’s quite a number of subtitling software programs out there – it varies per person and what computer/system they use/have. When I time & convert/save to .srt I use Aegisub or Jubler, when I edit I do so in TextEdit as I have a Mac, but I believe for PC you can use Notebook (or is it Notepad?)

Hmm i know your only subbing Series you choose and i dont want to suggest one. But theres a Series that seems to be realy interessting called Golden Fish. As far as i could find out from soompi forums, noone is gonna sub that yet (since its said to have 100+ eps). Anyway do you know other kdrama fansub grps besides withs2 and B.O.N. fansubs i could look up?

Just wondering if your subs will work for HAN 720p. I usually just download the XviD versions of the dramas, but then I saw uploads of 720p versions. Thinking it’ll be the same (since they’re both HAN, only with different resolutions), I downloaded the high-res version. But when I started playing the sub files, it seemed to flicker. I was wondering if its just my computer or if the sub files don’t really match high-res video files.

The playing of our subs with the 720 file should not affect the quality of the video – the video shouldn’t flicker. It is either your computer or the file is damaged.
As to whether they are synced in time – I can’t tell you, as I don’t know which drama you’re talking about. Basically though, it all depends on when the dialogue starts – that is, is the beginning introduction stretch before the actors talk the same for both the HAN & the 720 HAN. If they are then the subs will match. If not, & we haven’t supplied the site with a specific 720 version, then you could try yourself & re-sync them. I believe there is a tutorial @ am-addiction. You will have to join/register as a member if you aren’t one already.

No Veronica – we DO NOT allow people to use our subs to upload videos to streaming sites – but people do it WITHOUT OUR PERMISSION, even though we ask them specifically NOT TO!

Ok. Im downloading the soft subs. and when i do it saves as “GOd……so on , and the srt.txt.
For some reason i cant take the text off. So therefore i cant save the episodes and the softsubs as ths same name

You should be able to ‘save as’ the sub file & leave off the ‘.txt’ & add/leave the ‘.srt’ – this ‘save as’ action should ask you if you want to save the file either as a .txt or an .srt file. Go with the .srt
But it’s ok if it doesn’t let you, just leave the sub file as (for example) GoS.ep01.srt.txt and save your video file as GoS.ep01.avi. It will work.

I’ll assume that you have the TOP video version & you’re looking specifically for the subs to match. You could download the other 2 sub file versions supplied & see if they match – they’re both small files, so not a big issue to download. If they are out, you could try your hand @ re-syncing them yourself – there is a resync tutorial at AM-Addiction.com. You have to register as a member to get in. Otherwise – check out soompi.com or aja-aja.com (if member) or just google to find a TOP version of the raw file.

This drama has some limited news now, and we’re still waiting if there would be more development.
But from the news it had before, it was scheduled by Group 8 (the production company) to possibly air it this summer of 2010, but I think it may be impossible since news of casting nor filming hasn’t begun yet. We’ll be waiting for more further developments of the drama.

the site is closed to the public – unless you are a member & I don’t think they’re opening membership anytime soon, you will have to find alternative sites to download from. You should be able to find downloads from the sites listed in our Links section or otherwise, google the drama name & ep number.
