“Entering Korea’s top prestigious university is a breeze if you are equipped with perseverance, study skills and a careful strategy”
Kang Seok-ho, a former juvenile delinquent–turned-lawyer, is requested to take care of the liquidation of Byeong-mun High School. Looking at the difficult situation the school goes through, Seok-ho decides to save the school and the one and only solution he comes up with to keep the school from breakup is produce as many as Cheon-ha University (CU) applicants.
Seok-ho expects that if the school continues to increase the number of CU applicants every year, more students want to apply for the school, and that helps Byeong-mun overcome its financial difficulties. He is allowed to set up a special class on condition that he would bring 5 students in three days and raise their grades to the point where they can enter Cheon-ha University without difficulty.
Meanwhile, a group of creditors barges into Hwang Baek-hyeon’s place. Baek-hyeon, a student of Byeong-mun high, is a juvenile delinquent who has no interest in study. Out of sympathy, Seok-ho mobilizes all the knowledge he can to save Baek-hyeon’s family. He emphasizes the importance of learning to Baek-hyeon by saying “If you don’t want to be deceived by others, all you can do is study, study and study!!!”
Full of great anticipation, Seok-ho embarks on the special class. He makes the five students live together and invites high-profile instructors.
Now the journey to reviving the troubled Byeong-mun high begins!

ep1 SAN subs display two subs??how can i fix this?

There might be a few things wrong. Are you playing the file with Media Player Classic? This might have happened because the subtitles are already loaded and started playing automatically (they’re placed in the same directory, have the same filename except for the extension, one is .avi and one is .srt). When the player is open in the right bottom corner of your toolbar there are icons of the codecs used at the moment for playing your video. Right-click on the video-decoder one (depends on which type of codecs you have, for more information on codecs you can go to d-addicts tech support FAQ here: http://www.d-addicts.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=141455#141455) and there is a list of options. Uncheck the Subtitles one if it’s checked and this should resolve the double subtitle problem. If this doesn’t work, I suggest going through the FAQ page on the site of your media player. I hope this helps!

Go to the LINKS section above and there you’ll find useful sites to download your videos from. You download a file by saving it on your computer – either right-clicking on the link, Save As and then you wait until the download is complete. You should either try using the HAN subtitles to see if they wrok or re-sync them to your video version. You can re-sync the subtitles you have already downloaded (HAN) to the HANrel video version you already have – here is an easy tutorial on how to do that http://expertester.wordpress.com/2009/02/22/how-to-re-sync-or-re-timing-subtitle/. You can also google to see if anyone else has already posted the re-synced version. At d-addicts.com they also have good tutorials and a great technical section in their forum. Good luck!
i dont understand how im supposed to use the subs.
if i have downloaded the videos, and also the subs then do i just put them next to eachother and read the subs as the person speaks?

I suggest you read the FAQ section or in the comments below as your question has been answered there numerous times.
You’ve downloaded the right video version and the subtitles. Now you have to re-name the subitlte file EXACTLY the same EXCEPT for the suffix – the video will have .avi / the sub .srt

Place BOTH files in the SAME folder – and when you open the video file in your media player, the subs will automatically display.

I checked and the DokGoDie subtitles are perfectly in sync with the DokGoDie video version for episode 12. Please make sure you have downloaded the proper video versions and that you are using the right subtitles. I hope this will resolve your problem.

Thank you haru2subs for subbing this show… it is amazing. But I really must say, as much as I appreciate your efforts, the episodes subbed by ‘vivtango1′ are completely off! Not only are tones of expressions wrongly translated, but some translations are just completely off in terms of wording.
Just a heads up. But thanks again for all of your hard work!

unfortunately, as I did not watch nor work on this drama I can’t say. Though from memory, I don’t remember seeing comments about incorrectly worded translations.

I got a little problem with episode 3 subs.
At the top of the page are standing 4 versions of subs ANGEL|CEO|MMiSa|SAN
I’ve downloaded episode 3 of the god of study from d-addicts which is the Richard version
I tried the other sub versions (ANGEL|CEO|MMiSa|SAN), but that didn’t fully match the timing with Richard version
I noticed that you guys are in posession of the richard version of episode 7
so I was wondering if it is possible to add the “Richard” version of the subs for episode 3? Or can someone tell me where i can find those?

I’m so sorry to annoy you but .. I recently want to watch this show and .. I need eng subs. I already downloaded the first episode and the softsub .. I look at FAQ .. I read the advices to watch videos with eng subs. I have all softwares that can help to watch it with subs .. VLC, even Splash Pro ! But my subs start for about 1:16 mins late
