Eun Sung (Han Hyo Joo) was a kind-hearted girl who has everything, a loving father, a rich and happy family. But her step-mom, Baek Sung Hee (Kim Mi Sook) took away all her properities upon the death of her father (in a case of mistaken identity) and forced her to fend for herself while raising her real daughter ‘Seung Mi’ (Moon Chae Won) with great care. Luckily for Eun Sung who has a talent in cooking, she was accepted to a food company ‘Honey combs’ which is owned by the SunWoo family .But things are to get compilcated for her when she starts working for them as both SunWoo Hwan (Lee Seung Gi), the successor to the food company and Park Jun Se (Bae Soo Bin), a Fusion restaurant owner with an upcoming arranged marriage to Woo Hwan’s younger sister “Woo Jung” (Han Ye Won) get attracted to her. She later got an inheritance from the Sunwoo’s family’s grandmother by chance and started to re-build what she has lost and gain success.  –many thanks to yeohweping@soompi

    You can search in google for the video files – Brilliant Legacy is also known as Shining Inheritance, so you may find files listed under either title – hope this helps

    ellize – You won’t be able to play/to open the ental links you are downloading from our site as they are english subs only – NOT video files. If you still have problems downloading the sub file/s, see out FAQ section – it has help with downloading the files.

    Once you have the subs, and if you haven’t already, use google to find a site where you can download the video files – remember that this drama is also known as Shining Inheritance when searching.

    When you have the video file and the corresponding sub file, you will have to name both files the same – for example the video file: Brilliant_Legacy_ep01.avi and the sub file: Brilliant_Legacy_ep01.srt – remember EXACTLY the same for the subs to play. Then ‘Open’ your video file in whichever video player you have – GOM, VLC etc. – and there you go!

    Hope this helps and you are able to watch this wonderful drama!

    hi, im really looking forward to watching this whole series but i cant seemed to download it and if i do my system cant open it. what should i do? it has been such a great hit here in the philippines and since im always at work whenever it airs im always looking for something i can download. my OS is vista but its not playing here.

    Thanks for all the effort! I enjoyed watching this series very much and I’m definitely looking forward to the special’s sub. Btw, I noticed that apart from the tv special where the cast was interviewed in a studio, there were also another video showcasing cast interviews done during the filming itself. Are there any plans of subbing this in the future?

    Here’s a new update…
    So, the special episode is still on spot translation process.
    (Seriously, it’s really really hard.. I timed almost the half of it, and had so many spots, blame Kang Ho Dong and the rest for speaking too much!)
    We’ll be doing a quick editing, so it can be released before 2010 comes..
    Also, for those who are depending on aja-aja, make sure you can download all of the episodes now!! Because, Brilliant Legacy will be licensed by January and links might be hard to look far. And we will not answer questions here again! DOWNLOAD THEM NOW if you want to keep a copy of the whole series.. Including the BL Special as well.. :)
    We’ll be updating you as soon as spot translations are done. :)

    @sayroo: i’m pretty sure i downloaded it over from aja-aja. the talking in the video i downloaded starts at around 0:0:04 while the sub here started in 16 seconds. i redownloaded the subs again and again so i guess it must be the videos’ end. no harm done though.. i had it fixed easily.

Please make sure to re-download the subtitle again and make sure that your videos are from AJA-AJA or from the torrents that cute girl posts in soompi. Ental sometimes has some glitch on other of it’s versions..

    The translator is currently busy with school and is doing the special episode on her own schedule. If you have noticed back then that our releases were very fast, that’s probably because it was summer. Everyone had a free time, unlike today, school, homeworks and tests are keeping the translator working on it busy. So, we DO understand. We have her a e-mail already, but she will still be working on this one. We’ll always update you guys in twitter and our wiki whenever there is something to update for.

You do NOT need any winrar program/etc. for those, those are simply subtitles. Please check the FAQ section for those questions. If you have more questions, try to be resourceful and google stuffs..

    @whit3ros3, Just want to inform you and everybody, we will NOT drop the special episode. The translator working on this is currently busy with stuffs, but rest assured, we will release that episode. Even if it’ll take us a year or so. We will work on it! for now, our main priorities are our current projects. Especially, Queen of Housewives and Star’s Lover, those two projects are on the end stage for us. We’re getting ready. And also, we’re trying hard to catch up with Swallow the Sun and Soul. And creating High Quality english subs for Return of Iljimae.
    Please, we have 5 projects on us. Please DO support all 5 projects, do NOT waste your time waiting for us to release the special episode of Brilliant Legacy.. We always have twitter. We’ll update you guys ASAP when a progress would happen!!
